Computer repairs gone wrong. June 15, 2019.

What started off as a simple "install a new hard drive" project has quickly gone off the rails. The dell power supply was only a 235w unit. I'm not even certain it had enough power to have been running the system. This was when the 1050TI was the card to have. Anyway, to install the new drive, I needed a new power supply, the new power supply wouldn't fit in the case, so I needed a new case, the old motherboard wouldn't fit in the new case, so now I've ordered a new motherboard. My kid learned a few new words that she will need if she pursues a career in computers
